PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Sergey has been a drafter and office manager at Lund Engineering since May of 1998.  Since then he participated in these projects and office management tasks:

• Design of Storage Racks for metal parts using Solidworks.

• Detailing of Hydraulic Cylinder for the Hay Compactor.

• Drafting of pulp bale gluepress machinery.

• Detailing machinery parts of Lower Granite Dam Removable Spillway Weir using Microstation 95.

• Drafting a hay slicer modification.

• Drafting of isometric views for manuals.

• Drafting parts of Lower Granite Dam Removable Spillway Weir descent control system.

• Solid modeling and drafting all parts of plastic thermal laminating machine.

• Drafting of paper roll handling machinery.

• Drafting parts for a large custom multi-spindle grinding machine.

• Drafting a Pneumatic Schematic for Oscillating Sprayers in an e-coat paint system.

• Drafting of hydraulic carts for testing commercial airplane systems in a manufacturing facility.

• Drafting parts for the modification of a truck engine for a power-takeoff pulley.

• Drafting of hold down clamps for a continuous process grinding machine.

• Maintain technical library and electronic indexing system.

• Catalog and process digital and photographic images for the technical photo library.

• Help to construct web page.

• Various other office management tasks including shipping, receiving, maintaining office equipment, mail, e-mail, computer data back ups, etc.

Before he came to the USA Sergey worked in Kiev-Invest Industrial Company as a foreman. He did design and drafting on a Bus Maintenance Garage in Kiev. On this project as a young engineer he also was responsible for installation of roof components. This was a space structure with 18m by 3m welded frames, 12m sub-frames, and 6m beams. He calculated and did analysis of expected loadings and stresses. In the company laboratory, he did concrete testing.

Sergey took manufacturing courses in Highline Community College. Sergey’s computer experience includes MS Word, MS Excel, AutoCAD 13 and 14, SolidWorks, Microstation 95, ARCserver 6, Corel Photo-Paint 5, and MS Image Composer.
